Unio Specialty Care - Gastroenterology is a private gastroenterology and hepatology practice in Temple City, in the San Gabriel Valley. Our doctors are specialty-trained to care for a broad range of digestive and liver diseases and perform many diagnostic and screening gastrointestinal (GI) procedures. We see patients in our office and in local San Gabriel Valley hospitals.
We specialize in treating various digestive and liver problems, including acid reflux or heartburn, stomach or abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), hepatitis B, hepatitis C, cirrhosis, hemorrhoids, celiac disease, Barrett's esophagus, and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
We offer a comprehensive list of GI procedures, including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, small bowel enteroscopy, video capsule endoscopy (PillCam), high-resolution esophageal manometry, 24-hour pH testing, ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and hemorrhoid banding.
Our GI doctors diagnose and treat digestive and liver conditions for patients from Temple City, Arcadia, San Gabriel, Pasadena, Monrovia, Monterey Park, Rosemead, and nearby cities. We are in-network with most PPO plans and Medicare, and care is available in English, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Spanish, and Indonesian.

Procedures are performed at Valley Digestive Health Center and USC Arcadia Hospital in Arcadia.
Many healthy adults can. Our direct access colonoscopy program lets eligible patients skip the pre-procedure office visit.
Yes. We perform liver elastography in our Temple City office to check for liver fat and scarring in fatty liver disease, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and other liver conditions.
