Dr. Tim Chen
Dr. Tim (Tien-Chun) Chen was born in Taipei, Taiwan and was raised in Houston, Texas. He spent time in St. Louis where he attended undergraduate and obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis. He then completed his medical education at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He returned home to Houston to complete his internship and residency training in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. Finally, he completed specialty fellowship training in gastroenterology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. As a gastroenterologist, he enjoys treating a wide variety of diseases within the field of gastroenterology. He enjoys the relationships that he develops with his patients and especially takes pride in helping patients see the light at the end of the tunnel. In his free time, Dr. Chen enjoys attending sporting events, playing basketball, and jogging. As a transplant to Los Angeles, he is delighted in exploring the city’s theaters, arts, and restaurants.
